Our students have successfully matriculated and graduated from colleges and universities across the country. Over our 18 year history, we have inducted over 250 young men into the program. The goal of the program is to help students set high and lofty goals and provide them with the tools, resources and skills to attain them and beyond. The program focuses on leadership training, community service, mentoring, personal responsibility and academic enrichment. In just under two years the program went from two schools to over ten schools spanning Middlesex and Somerset county middle and high schools. Alex Gray, the foundation for the program was developed. Under the direction of the chapter Polemarch, Bryan Foston, and the Guide Right director, C. The program began with 16 African-American males primarily from Quibbletown Middle School. In 2004, the New Brunswick Alumni chapter formally introduced its Kappa Leadership League. The founders of the Kappa Instructional Leadership League were Mr. at the 56th Grand Chapter which was held August 12-15, 1970. Kappa League was adopted by the Grand Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. Kappa League was founded on Thursday, February 12, 1969, by the Los Angeles Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., at Alain LeRoy Locke High School. The fraternity sought to help these young men to achieve worthy goals for themselves and make constructive contributions to their community when leadership roles become the responsibility. Membership was open to male students from the tenth through the twelfth grades. It provided both challenging and rewarding experiences, which richly enhanced their lives. Called the Kappa Instructional Leadership League, it was designed to help young men grow, receive, and develop their leadership talents in every phase of human endeavor. It was called the Kappa Instructional Leadership League. Under the chairmanship of Mel Davis, the Los Angeles Alumni Chapter’s Social Action Program took the form of training activity for young men of the Alain Leroy Locke High School. It serves as a mechanism for undergraduate and graduate members of the Fraternity to serves as mentors and leaders within their local communities.
